At first look, you will think that this is an oversized Nintendo DS, but when you take a closer look, you will know that this is far from being a game console. In celebration of Toshiba's 25th year anniversary, they resurrected an old brand name and gave it a new twist, the Toshiba Libretto now has the W100, which really looks like an oversized Nintendo DS.
The specs of the Toshiba Libretto W100 are:
Processor: Pentium U5400
Dimension: 202 mm × 25.4mm × 123 mm (w × h × d)
Weight: Approx. 699g
RAM: Memory 2GB
Chipset: Intel QS57 Express Chipset
HD: 62GB SSD
Display: Two 07-inch (WSVGA) LCD display
Screen Res.: 1024 × 600 screen resolution and supports multi-touch
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Other features are:
microSD card slot
USB 2.0 × 1
IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n compatible wireless LAN
Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
102 Web-megapixel camera
Since this computer is still considered as "concept pc" Toshiba may still tweak the specs may be add a component or two (do I hear larger hard drive or RAM). But the company is planning to launch it late August on a limited time only, the price tag for the new Libretto W100 is $1,099 and I'm not sure if Toshiba will even launch this in the Philippines.
